The historical and research materials of Commonwealth University can be found in the University Archives and Special Collections on the campuses of its predecessor institutions-Bloomsburg University, Lock Haven University, and Mansfield University. They serve as official repositories for historical records and document and preserve each institution's history and that of Commonwealth University, making history accessible to faculty, staff, students, alumni, members of the three communities, and researchers.
