Study Rooms

Reserve a Study Room

There are 29 study rooms available across all four floors of Andruss Library. Most study rooms come equipped with a computer and screen, making them great for individual or group study sessions. Priority is given to students with reservations and reservations can be made for a maximum of 2 hours a day.

Terms and Conditions

Study Room Policies

  • Study rooms may only be booked by Commonwealth University students.
  • Study room reservations are available only during times the Library is open. Your reservation will be forfeited if library closes due to unforeseen circumstances.
  • Priority given to students with room reservations, regardless of the number of occupants.
  • Each reservation is made in 30-minute increments up to 2 hours maximum.
  • Individuals are limited to reserving 2 hours of space per day.
  • Rooms may be reserved up to 5 days in advance.
  • An individual that is more than 10 minutes late forfeits the reservation.
  • Students can use an open room but are strongly encouraged to use reservation system or they will have to yield to anyone making a reservation for an open room.
  • Individuals are responsible for abiding by their reserved times. Please be prompt in arriving and be sure to leave when your reserved time is up.
  • Please respect others studying in the library by keeping noise to a minimum. Remember that the study rooms are not well insulated and noise travels.
  • No meals in library. Drinks and quick snacks are permitted.
  • Please leave the rooms tidy for the next group.
  • Every effort is made to keep computers and other equipment in the library working, but we cannot guarantee that a specific computer in a specific room will be working for a reservation.

Andruss Library reserves the right to limit future reservations of study rooms if the system is abused.
