What is a Lead Librarian?

A Lead Librarian serves as the main point of contact between the University Libraries and departments. Lead Librarians will communicate library initiatives and services for faculty and students, and coordinate instruction requests for classes taught within your department. What is a Campus Librarian?

Campus Librarians are assigned to campuses where the Lead Librarian for a department is not physically located. They are available to provide in-person research assistance to students taking courses within your department as well as to partner with faculty to provide subject-based information literacy instruction, embedded librarianship, and course specifc guides.
