The borrowing period for laptops is three (3) days. Users may renew twice, if need be, for a total of nine (9) consecutive days. At that point, the user must return the laptop to Media Services. The user must then wait two (2) days before being allowed to borrow another laptop. 

The purpose of the library's laptop lending program is to provide students with a laptop for short-term, course-related use when their own laptops are broken or when they cannot find the software they need in the library's computer labs. CU-Lock Haven students who cannot afford their own laptops are encouraged to contact the Office of Financial Aid (224 Ulmer Hall) by phone at 570-484-2424 or by email at financialaid@commonwealthu.edu.
