The borrowing period for laptops is three (3) days. Users may renew twice, if need be, for a total of nine (9) consecutive days. At that point, the user must return the laptop to Media Services. The user must then wait one week (i.e., a minimum of seven days) before being allowed to borrow another laptop. 

The purpose of the library's laptop lending program is to provide students with a laptop for short-term, course-related use when their own laptops are broken or when they cannot find the software they need in the library's computer labs. CU-Lock Haven students who cannot afford their own laptops are encouraged to contact the Office of Financial Aid (224 Ulmer Hall) by phone at 570-484-2424 or by email at financialaid@commonwealthu.edu.
