The Air Conditioning system in Stevenson Library is down. Portable AC units, dehumidifiers, and fans have been placed throughout the library to keep study areas and offices reasonably cool and to minimize the risk of damage to the books, journals, and other physical collections. 

If you enter the library, please be aware that it may be very warm, and please be careful as you walk near the electrical wires connected to the dehumidifiers, AC units, and fans. While the central AC is down, the Library Instruction Room (LIR), which is located inside the 24-Hour Study Room, will be open and available as a cool, quite study area and computer lab. The LIR has its own AC units.
