Overdue and Damaged Materials

The following materials are subject to Fines and Replacement Costs.

Overdue: You are responsible for renewing or returning materials on or before the due date. Faculty and staff have until the end of the academic year to return material borrowed.

  • Overdue notices will be given one time (1 day after the item due date). After that time, a notice with a replacement cost and a replacement fee will be attached. Financial and academic holds will be placed on a student's account if the fee is not paid. All fees may be waived once the item is returned.

Damaged: Material that is damaged will be subject to replacement costs.

Remember: If you do not pay your library fines, a notice may be sent to the Bursar’s Office and to the Registrar’s Office, where a hold will be placed on your account.
